![]() ![]() ![]() An upgrade at this point really isn't something I'd like to do. An alternative solution would be to create a virtual machine on windows and run it through there, but I've tried and failed because Sinus Bot only has a 64bit version and my 2GB of RAM really doesn't cut it. I've searched the internet and didn't find anything particular to my problem and the questions that seemed similar to mine where not answered, so I'm sure this would not only help me but various other users that are in a similar situation. I tried to open a command prompt in the NAS through putty.exe but I didn't get anywhere. My issue is that my knowledge in linux is practically non existent and what I find on the internet isn't working. ![]() I will post links to the programs I've been talking about until now: TeamSpeak 3 Client 64bit linux: Sinus Bot 64bit, a free music bot that operates on linux: Basically once you configure and turn on the bot, it will automatically open a TeamSpeak3 instance and log in to the designated server and play the music that has previously been uploaded to the bot. I've been searching on the net a while for this and I found a bot that has many interesting functionalities that would be quite neat to have. I assume this is doable and shouldn't really drain many resources as it is quite a small program. What I'd like to achieve is to keep the music playing 24/7 through my QNAP, rather than only have music playing when I turn on my computer. So I regularly join a TeamSpeak (a Voip program mainly for gaming, but honestly quite great for just the casual chatting too) and lately I've been playing some background music on the server from my computer to keep everyone entertained. However recently I've encountered a task that I'd like to complete but unfortunately this is where my limited knowledge and google aren't helping me at all. For the time being it has been running very smoothly and I've been getting all I need out of it. Hello QNAP community, I recently bought a TS 453 mini (2GB RAM) to use as a media and file server at home. ![]()
